Beretta neos carbine conversion kit is NJ legal correct?

I know it is rare but if I find one for sale I might jump on the oppurtunity to buy it. As far as I have read, as long as I make sure to attach the barrel portion to prevent it from being a SBR it is legal correct?

I'm glad you enjoy that thing. I can't stand it. One of my buddies loves his and he shoots cans, poppers, and target trees all the live-long day. If you don't speak to him he won't say a word for an hour while he shoots that thing.

Haha yeah I quite enjoy it, the carbine kit is very cool and one day I'd love to get a suppressor for it. Once I leave this state.

AFAIK, Converting a handgun to a rifle is okay! Converting a rifle to a handgun is another story. You can by an AR stripped lower as a rifle in PRNJ without a P2P. If you use that lower to make an AR pistol

I believe that is illegal!

Technically, it doesnt matter which one you put on first. adding the barrel first makes it an illegal pistol, putting the stock on makes it sbr.. lol, but it is otherwise legal.
