are ACS 15/30 mags nj legal?

Recommended Posts

I wanted to know before I bought a few.

from what it looks like, the body is crimped so the follower cannot go past 15 rounds, is this enough to make it nj legal?

heres a link to their site

I've been looking for a steel 15/30 for a while, because I wanna wrap a couple with the Gadsen flag and punisher wraps but I feel like they'll look like shit on Hexmags...

Think I've found my steel mags :D

These should be NJ legal, it says they're permanently blocked.

there is no legal definition...

NJ has gone on record saying that temporary modifications do not eliminate the mag from being a large cap mag...

IMO if the mag can be converted back without destroying the mag you still technically run the risk..

the steel body is crimped  to prevent the follower from going past 15 rounds, its more permanent than a rivet but i do see your point

what are somethings to make it "more permanent" that don't involve chopping the mag?

all fair points.. I was simply giving you the literal answer to your question.. lol

the LITERAL answer is the law.. as written does not specify..

NJ has stated that any non permanent modification is not good to go..

with that said you will need to use your judgement..

Yeah that $2.99 shipping caught me off-guard.  I was tempted to order 10... lol.  I got 2, if they're good mags I'll order 2 more.

Now, if anyone knows a good price on a Gadsen wrap and/or a Punisher wrap...  I saw one, only one, with Ezekiel 25:17 and a faded cross in the background that looked AMAZING over a black mag but I'll be damned I cannot find that wrap for sale to save my life...

Just got mine today.  Shipping took flippin' FOREVER compared to most things I've ordered Via USPS, but they got here today.  I loaded both, each hold a solid 15 with no room for another (unlike a certain magazine with a hexagonal pattern *caugh*) and each lock smoothly fully loaded on closed and open bolt.  I like em.  Might order 4 more.

I got mine last Wednesday I think. They seem great and hold a solid 15! They are out of stock and from what I read in another thread, no more are coming in. I wish I had grabbed more as well!

well, they appear to be in stock at the moment..   BUT, the price has gone back to 17.95/mag...   so whoever said they would not be coming back into stock was seemingly FOS..  lol
