302w 83 Posted August 20, 2015 Who has went to one, and how was it? I would like to attend one "some day". Seems fun.
WhiskeyTangoFoxtrot 358 Posted August 20, 2015 Yes, highly recommend. I go to a couple each year. Great two days of learning (or getting reacquainted) with marksmanship and our heritage (the events of April 19, 1775). Great camaraderie and fun. owadj01 0 Posted August 20, 2015 I second that. I did a post after I attended one at SJSC/Bangers earlier this year. http://www.njgunforums.com/forum/index.php?/topic/76544-Project-Appleseed-Event-at-SJSC/Bangers Project Appleseed Event at SJSC/Bangers
almiz111 26 Posted August 20, 2015 Yes do it. You'll find out if you can shoot or not. Make sure your rifle likes your ammo. To qualify you have to be running smooth. I did two of these and based on that you get a little tired of the history lessons. But you'll get over it. LOL.
302w 83 Posted August 20, 2015 What rifles did you guys use? I would use my AR, which is an M16A1 build kit. Would be well suited IMHO. Backup would be either a SKS or 1903.
