Form 4473 question for FFLs

When selling an AR lower in NJ do you mark the type as rifle or other? I bought a Glock frame not long ago and it was marked as other. The reason I ask is if it is sold as a rifle it can legally be made into a pistol as it would be a SBR because how it was initially sold.

I know in PA it is marked "Other"

Last one I picked up in NJ got marked "other".

Bound Book is marked "Receiver". The 4473 is marked as "other". A COE or PPP could be used and will determine how you can build it.

I don't have a COE or PPP issue as I'll build it in FL.  As long as the federal form is marked other I think I'm ok.

BUT, if you use a COE to purchase, it looks like your intent is to build a long gun. That being said, you have about a .00001% chance of getting in trouble.

I'll take my chances on that since the COE is a NJ specific form and FL doesn't have anything other than 4473 fed form.
