Walther PP 1940s - Any experts to check it out at Cherry Ridge ?

I got a walther PP from 1940s (I am told). I havent fired it yet. Wondering if any Walther PP owners here willing to check it out at Cherry Ridge sometime. Appreciate it.  Feel free to PM me if you like.

I have an eagle N Walther PP in .22, they are fun little guns I shoot mine quite a bit you will definitely enjoy it. however im not a member of cherry ridge or a gunsmith so I cant really help you out

I have an eagle-N PPK in .380; love it. Currently have my eyes on a .32 PP from the late 60's.

 

I'm also not a member, though. You may want to check out waltherforums to get some more info on these great shooters.

Post some photos, including any manufacturer, proof, and acceptance markings. I am sure there's some knowledge here that can tell you what exactly it is that you have

If the slide is marked Zella-Mehlis

it is 1945 or before. If it is marked Ulm or something else it is post 1945. Some of the 1940s are marked in different ways and may have a serial with a letter block or an AC in front of the serial number.

Thanks everyone. This little guy got Zella-Mehlis on the slide, serial number 183xxxP only on the frame (not on slide). Eagle over N on slide, corresponding location on barrel and also at the tip of the barrel. Interestingly, it also has a lanyard loop attachment at the bottom (havent seen much of those). 

 

I got some PM help.  I cleaned, lubed and put it away couple of months ago. Yday I noticed rust on the inside of part that holds slide back. 

I was hoping someone can look it and advise on any remediation. But thx anyways.
