CZ 75 SP 01 10 round magazine?

Recommended Posts

Its the same 10 round mag that goes in the 75B and 75BD.  CZ started to make them again after a long pause.

You can get them directly from the CZ website:

I have a few and they work fine.

Well, I got mine from CZ Custom, and they did a trigger job on it.  The single action pull is amazing.   I like it better than my 1911s (don't hate me). The RSO at GFH really liked it, too.  I love the pistol.  It's a tough choice between that and my Sig P220 SA 10mm.

This is what I got (stock configuration, they shipped it next day)

As for one pistol, it depends on what you want and what you like.  What are you mainly using it for?  Do you prefer a lighter, striker fired polymer gun or do you like heavier, all-metal gun with a hammer?  There are many factors to consider.  But yes, this is a fine pistol as are many others.  We're really spoiled to have so many great choices these days.

I didn't know you wanted 15 round mags, that's why I sent the link for the 10's

Greg Cote has MecGar 15 round CZ mags for the 75/85/SP-01.  I have also purchased them and they are good to go.

He also has the MecGar 10 rounds on his website.  If there is anything you need that is out of stock, just check "notify me" and he shoots an email when they are in stock.

You are looking at a CZ SP01 or a Glock 19..   Wow, you couldnt be at more opposite ends of the spectrum.  Either one of those guns would be fine for target/range fun or for home defense.

Yes, the Glock is cheaper than the CZ, but its a polymer frame gun and the CS is all steel (and heavier).  I love my CZ for its ergos and the classic look of it.  I also like the hammer fired guns (I have a CZ and a Beretta 92).  I do not love Glocks because i find their ergos to be not great for me (not to mention, they are just hideous.. heh), but others love them.  I do not shoot Glocks that bad, but i have the H&K VP9 as my lone striker fired 9mm.  I find the ergos on that one to be outstanding.

It all depends on what you are looking for.  The only real way to give advice is to say shoot them both and see which one you like better.  Both are quality and both will last a long time, but they are totally different kinds of guns

I don't think I could ever pick "one gun for a lifetime" but, if your choice is Glock or CZ I would go with CZ hands down.

I have a G23 (they're all the same) and a CZ 75b and, to be honest, I don't shoot either one very much but, I do enjoy shooting the CZ. It fits my hand nice and is very accurate. My Glock is my night stand gun, I only take it the range once or twice a year to confirm it functions properly. I don't enjoy shooting it as much as my other pistols.

Thanks all for the offers to test some pistols! I am in the Princeton area. In addtion to the CZ75 SP-01, after doing a bit more on-line research and You Tube reviews, I think a striker fired 9mm

seems very appealing to me. The models I am looking at are either the Glock 17 or 19 and the newer Sig Sauer P320. As some here may know, my current one and only 9mm is the Stoeger Cougar

9mm pistol, identicable to the Beretta PX4 Storm, just in all metal. I may sell or trade in my Stoeger for a striker fired 9mm pistol for either of the mentioned Glocks or Sig P320.

I think I might really like the simplicity of a striker fired pistol and ease of use over a hammer fired pistol, of course, I will need to touch, feel and handle them.

I also own a beautiful MINT condition S&W Model 617 22LR.
