maintenanceguy 510 Posted September 26, 2015 I haven't hunted in years. My son will be old enough to get his hunting license very soon and he wants to go hunting. I grew up hunting on family land but that's not family land anymore. I've known a few people who rented hunting land but I really don't know how that transaction happens. What's the going rate? Do you rent a few acres of woods for the season or for the year? And how do you find people with wooded land to rent? I know my area pretty well and thought about just looking through tax maps and contacting the owners of wooded lots to see if they were interested in making a deal but I have no idea what that deal typically looks like. Thanks for any advice in advance.
