Range rules on loaded magazines

...Is it REALLY worth the loss of your FID and jail time?? I don't get why people would still openly shoot 30rd mags at gun ranges.

could have been a leo with his duty gun doing "official" practice. we ran in to that a few weeks ago at Cherry Ridge. My son and he had lots to talk about, in a good way as the leo was a Marine too. I just kind of mumbled in the background not happy about not having 30's.

Didn't think about that. I suppose it's possible.

I Know where i grew up (East Brunswick), the PD has their own range, though i don't know if they fire rifles there as well.

IIRC, during the orientation for SJSC, they recommended that any LEO's wear something somewhat identifying themselves as such if they're going to be doing things ordinary members can't do (like carry).

i don't condone it mind you, but remember it's legal in just about every state EXCEPT nj...

also, if you're a member of the protected class (police, politician), laws don't apply to you. they're only for the unwashed masses
