DargZ 5 Posted November 11, 2015 Tier one defense does a nice job and they are pretty quick. They are located in Mountainside though. Prices are online. http://www.tieronedefense.com/ar15-semi-auto-services-1.html

DirtyDigz 1,812 Posted November 11, 2015 Thanks all, probably going to RTSP to shoot tomorrow, will ask them for their rates and keep Tier 1 in mind if I don't like RTSP's cost.

DirtyDigz 1,812 Posted November 20, 2015 It's at Tier 1...The responses here started me on the path, the fact that the shop is <5 miles from my work sealed it. The scene when I walked in made me smile, but would have given Mom's Demand Action members a heart attack - 2 little children sitting at the counter, coloring away in coloring books under a wall packed with "military style" AR's, Aug's, Shotguns, etc. etc.

Sonnylee 20 Posted December 20, 2015 $50 pin and weld brake, $15 remove bayo lug Hey DirtyDigz, Im also getting ready to make a purchase of a barrel and muzzle brake along with a BCG. Do I need to have barrel, break and BCG sent to FFL? The barrel is threaded and the BCG Is a m16. I know about the lower, but Im not sure about the threaded barrel and BCG
T Bill 649 Posted December 20, 2015 Parts are parts, nothing more. What BCG you have makes no difference, just a part.
Sonnylee 20 Posted December 20, 2015 So does that mean I can assemble the complete upper and then have it pinned and welded?
T Bill 649 Posted December 20, 2015 Or put on gas block, have it pinned and then finish assembly.
Sonnylee 20 Posted December 20, 2015 That sounds great! Thanks T Bill...
T Bill 649 Posted December 20, 2015 My bad, don't forget the barrel nut also.
