Outstanding CS from Trijicon

Recommended Posts

2 weeks ago I requested a service ticket to repair an old Trijicon RMR02 that I had milled into a Glock slide. I bought this this optic about 5 years ago from a guy in Texas that was selling it at a decent price. I don't know how long he had it, but it had a very low serial number.

The older RMRs are known to take a beating when slide mounted, and this one finally gave up the ghost and starting showing signs of a wandering zero about a month ago.

Trijicon told me to send it in - so I boxed up the old optic and sent it off with the RA they sent me.

Today, I received a brand new Trijicon RMR02 ( the recent production RMRs have reinforced internals designed for use on pistols). I incurred no charges, and Trijicon provided the complete replacement with no questions asked.

I couldn't be more pleased.

I was thinking the same thing.

Luckily for my bank account, I am not in the market for a new RDS right now.

I am also very intrigued by the SRS, but that thing is ridiculously priced.

isn't the SRS having mixed reviews?  i can't remember honestly.   I am "kind of" in the market for another red dot for my 22lr upper.  i was really hoping the h1 price would drop once the t2 came out but that never seemed to happen.  i really don't want to spend $2k all in for a dedicated 22lr gun :(

I have only heard decent reviews about the SRS. I am more than satisfied with my Aimpoint T1s and PROs.

I put my old EOTurd on my .22 AR. It's only for plinking/training. I figure the worst that happens is I finish a day at the range with iron sights.

If I didn't have a spare EO or 2 lying around I would look at a Vortex or a PA red dot.
