1 Permit left. If you could only buy one HG?......

Recommended Posts

I got two permits last go around and I got my new HK VP9. But if you had to buy one hand gun what would you buy and why?  I have a 1911 which I love.

Just curious what you guys like and what else is out there.

Thanks!

Have fun and stay safe!

Depends on what you have already...if it's just those two I would do a SIg P226 MK25 in FDE :)

Another vote for a .357 magnum! Find a nice used S&W model 19 Combat Masterpiece or a nice Colt Python! The 19 will be less money!

Never had a stovepipe or failure to feed with my S&W model 19 yet!!! Come to think of it, no failure to fire either! But I have only had it for

37 years!!!

I think there was a Ruger Mark III on sale on njhunter if that's what you want.

I want a Beretta px4 .40 and a older s&w .38 special 5" with wood handles and the black barrel.

You, like most on this sight enjoy a good blue job!!! The older S&W model 19 had the best blue job. A very deep blue, almost black mirror finish. A  GILF if there ever was one!

The Beretta PX4 compact is also a great choice!!! I have one in 9mm. Great feel. Great gun! 15 rounds of pure fun!

Another +1 for S&W m19! I have a m19-2 from 1956 and it's still my favorite. It was my first handgun and it started my S &W fanboyites. Symptoms include uncontrollable urges to purchase S&W firearms resulting in a collection of fine, reliable well made guns.
