Flashlight belt clip

Recommended Posts

I'm going to take low light no light class. It says I need a belt holder. I have two flashlights. One that takes C batteries, and one that takes AA batteries. The AA battery one I'd say is 1.5 inches wide in the handle. I'm looking at light belt holders on Amazon. Do I just look for one that holds 1 inch diameter?

Please do not suggest a whole new tactical light with holder combo I would prefer to do that AFTER the training. Unless you will tell me "for the price of just the holder you get the light for just XXX more."

I'm doing this for home defense I really don't see myself ever wearing a light belt attachment in the future.

Ideas welcome.

Can't you just stick it in your pocket? That would be "real" at this point for what you have and what you want it for.

Get a FourSevens Quark Click QK2A

http://www.foursevens.com/products/QK2A-AE-24

$30 for ~250 lumens powered by AA batteries with an integral belt/pocket clip.

They are lightweight, durable, and the perfect size for carry and shooting. Not so big that you can't bole the gun and th lights, not so small that you can't "aim" thenlight where you want it.

I have a few of these lights (7 of them) and they are an outstanding value. I carry a QK2L-X everyday at work and home. I keep a QL2A in my truck and another in my get home bag.

I keep a flashlight (the Quark I linked to above) in my left front pants pockets all the time - on and off duty.

If I take a low-light class and train with a handheld light, that's where I keep it for the duration of the class.

Training with it on my belt, but carrying it in my pocket in real life doesn't make sense to me.
