9mm and 40sw plated bullets

Recommended Posts

American Reloading has pulled 9mm and 40sw bullets really cheap right.

I've ordered a few times from them lately and have not been disappointed yet w/ quality.

Use code 50OFFUNTILGONE at checkout

Please link me where you can buy 180gn plated bullets for $0.05 each....

I assume this is what you were referring to:

I didn't parse the original that the code was an additional 50% off. Even so. free garbage is still garbage. The pics show some pretty rough plating and plated bullets are very sensitive to damage to the plating.

That's an opinion and you're certainly entitled to it.

I have no incentive aside from promoting a good deal for fellow enthusiasts.

Like I said in the several orders I've received I have yet to find one with actually damaged plating. Some may have very minor pull marks, but vast majority are just slightly dirty.

If you're concerned, don't load them as hot as you would jacketed. Plated bullets are only supposed to be loaded slightly hotter than lead cast.
