  1. HKHockey. Thanks for that like I said it's my first build so the more and accurate info I have the better. Looks like once I get the upper I'll head over to the guild and have them do the pinning and welding the are not far from me and haven't let me down yet.
  2. I'm just waiting on NICS for my lower actually. I got the polymer one from midwestpx. I just went today for the paperwork as soon as NICS check finishes I'm good to go. Yeah I'm surprised I got the lower and upper and the parts kit so quickly all within a week. And thanks to my bro for the charging handle I'll save some cash. Mags and ammo are another story.
  3. Thank you very much I appreciate it. So far I'm waiting for this upper and the lower build kit both from PSA to be shipped. My bro has a custom charging handle so he is giving me his stock charging handle so all I really need now is to pick up my lower and and a bolt carrier group.
  4. So the extender is legal and all I need to do is mill the lug and pin the muzzlebreak? Thanks so much. I have it on order as they are so hard to find. I guess worse case scenario ill scrap the barrel and get bull
  5. If I purchase this and remove the barrel extesion and flash hider and have a muzzlebreak pinned or welded on is this NJ legal. Futher is it possible to keep the barrel extender? Sorry if I'm a complete newbie but this is my first build. http://palmettostatearmory.com/index.php/m4-premium-16-cmv-chrome-lined-stripped-upper-without-bcg-or-charging-handle.html
  6. Some models of the .22 neos are being recalled because the gun may accidentally discharge with the safety in the off position or when turning the safety from the safe position to the fire position. http://www.berettasupport.com/neos/
  7. Is a pistol permit requried to buy an 1851 cap and ball colt replica.
  8. The hunting club I'm in sent out this e-mail it's about reducing the bow safety zone to 150 feet. he Bow Perimeter Bill, which reduces the legal distance to bowhunt from an elevated position from 450 feet to 150 feet from a structure, is going to be voted on in committee on Thursday. We need to let the committee members know we want this bill to move forward. This is our opportunity to access many areas in need of deer management! We must call to get this bill out of committee...the antis are calling big time! Five phone calls should take about five minutes. Senator Bob Smith (732) 752-0770 Senator Robert Gordon (201) 703-9779 Senator Jennifer Beck (732) 933-1591 Senator Jim Beach (856) 429-1572 Senator Chris Bateman (908) 526-3600 Here's your script: Good morning. I'd like to leave a message for Senator ____________. I'd like him/her to support Senate bill S1181, the bow perimeter bill, when it comes up for a committee vote on June 3rd. They may or may not ask your name. They may or may not ask for your phone number so the senator to call you back. Say Thank You and move onto the next call.
  9. I got my application in the mail. I have the fingerprint card I have many LEO friends. Would I be able to have one of them do it and sign or do I have to actually go to the local municipal building. And do I have to get this notarized, the application I mean there is a section for a notary to sign so I'm assuming it' must be stamped as well. Havne't read through it all at work just glanced through. Any one know of any notaries in the 07027 zip?
  10. If I go to a gunshow in a state where private sales are allowed. Is it possible to purchase a handgun and bring back to NJ as long as I don't transfer it to another individual or am I now a straw purchaser. Also what about long guns? I think I may be answering my own question but I'm guessing the private party would have to contact an NJ ffl and transfer it to me through them?
  11. HOLY CRAP I have to decipher that!!!. I think I'm just gonna get some Ghost Pepper (hottest pepper in the world) grind in into a paste soak in it vodka for a few weeks and put it in a compressed air bottle.
  12. I know this is a gun forum but I realised the other day I had left my hunting knife in the trunk of my car, probably not a big deal but as this in NJ anyone know of a good link to the laws about knives in NJ? Googled but didn't find anything "official".
  13. I live in Jersey my brother lives in Missouri is this doable and how. I want it to be a surprise.
