  1. NJ Guns still around on Mewe? It's been a few years since I've used it but I cant find it on Mewe and it seems like I was removed from the group.
  2. Greetings. Ive been disconnected for quite some time from 2A world. Family duties, second job takes over spare time etc., I know the days of FTF stuff are long gone but what's the new process now? Last I read a FFL was required to process the transfer, does that apply to both pistols and rifles? I've sold plenty through the years nows it's time to just hold onto a select few that I can't part with. I plan on listing a HK VP9, Colt 1911 Combat Commander, Spikes fully built AR. However prior to doing so I want to make sure I'm up to date on the process and the take the smoothest means to do so. Thanks in advance
  3. You will have to reapply using the same initial process in your new town however this time check off change of address on the top of the form. As mentioned by another member don't relinquish your current FID. When I bought my current house it was still in the same town as my previous house however I still had to submit a new forms ST-033 & SP-66. The reference letters also went out as normal. The clerk punched a hole in my FID and said it's no longer valid until the process for my new one was done.
  4. Excellent, thank you. I'm dreading the FID transfer process
  5. Being that I posted in a NJ forum let's go with New Jersey. Also Union County, thanks
  6. With the birth of our first we recently just sold our small ranch. We're currently looking closer to my in laws and Springfield is on the the top of our list. Does anybody live in Springfield and how 2A friendly of a town is it? Thanks
  7. I'm sure plenty of folks have told you when the kid comes it's no longer about you. Until your actually in that position it's heard to fully comprehend. Well while writing this I'm smiling and looking at my 3 month old boy. There's far more important things in life once the kid comes along, atleast from my view. Every ticking second I find myself thinking what can I do differently to make my son's life better. Save the money for something she'll need and appreciate the ones you have! Good idea though, I can't say I didn't consider the same
  8. Need some opinions here. The wife and I just hit our first anniversary and her gift to me is to pick out something I want which of course will be a gun. After my last purchase of a PS90, there isn't much I have the itch for. I tinkered around with a CZ 2075 for a little, or a HK P7. Other than that I'm open to all suggestions. I'm looking to find something different in the 600-700 range but could add a little if it's appealing to me. Suggestions? Thanks
  9. Yet another welcome from Colonia!
  10. Not so much a expectation but rather finger crossing. If he's consist and already vetoed in the past you'd think he would be more outspoken this go around. Fact of the matter is you can never tell which way he leans on this topic. I guess that comes with the position. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. Nothing like reading a good mystery. Way to divert that callers' question "Father of the year/International Man of mystery." Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. Let me be the first to say your best route would be to hire a attorney with knowledge of the laws pertaining to firearms. Hope you overcome your troubles and get your FID. *well I wasn't the first afterall Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
