  1. I'm going to try to make a version of this for fun. http://www.thefirearmsblog.com/blog/2012/11/16in-frankenstein-was-a-9mm-bullpup/
  2. The Suomi would be a possible candidate, but I'd prefer (actually probably need) a gun with a magwell. And there is the 922r problem with the imported mags.
  3. I'm looking for a 9mm carbine/rifle that has a cylindrical receiver for a special project. Think something like a the semi version of the Sterling/Sten SMG but with bottom feeding magwell. And it has to use Uzi/colt or Sterling/Sten mags. I've thought long and hard but I can't remember seeing a rifle of this type. Perhaps one of you can help?
  4. Thanks for the offers and suggestions. I'll let you guys know if I need anything further.
  5. Some kind soul just PMed me. Thanks
  6. If you like railed forearms, check out Chaos USA. For Magwells try JT Engineering. You modify stick mags to fit the well.
  7. I have one and it is my CC pistol. No way is it's recoil like a .22! Recoil is fast and snappy. And you hand will feel the effects after 15 to 20rds of continuous shooting. Their claim stems from the fact that the XR9 barrel actually starts above the magazine as opposed to in front of it.
  8. Weak side, front pocket. Mag loaded with different brand of ammo than what is in the gun.
  9. Not cheap and minimal cheek weld, but if you want your gun as short as possible... NEA Compact Carbine stock
  10. I got one of those single 4 ring burners so I can get the flames to heat the sides of my wok.
  11. I'm only going to use it for cooking and nothing else. Do I need to put a regulator on the tank itself? Of just one near the burner? Didn't think about the insulation around the burner, will need to check up on the local regs for that. I won't use enough for a leased tank, so I'll probably get mine filled up at a gas station which does refills.
  12. I just had a propane line installed from a connection outside the house to my counter. I will be using the small portable BBQ type tanks I want to have two located outside, using one as a spare. Both in and outdoor connectors are the type with a 1/4 turn valve on them I have a burner that comes with a regulator, but I don't know what else to buy to make it work. Any advice?
