  1. What blue line said. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. The guide rod was seated correctly. I did note that in the manual before I fired the pistol
  3. I noticed the round stuck and or hung up on the ramp, then crushed by the slide. Called Ruger, they sent me a label to send it back to them. Great Customer Service so far.
  4. Should yes, but if that was truly evident, then under that claim alone CCW should be granted, but it is not.
  5. So we can't use the justification that we seek CCW because of the 2A interpretation in Heller that the right is individual, because the NJ Courts say that the Constitution is not enough. The law then further limits our individual right to say that right is limited to the home, unless we have good enough reason, like having been beaten or threatened previously and made it out alive. So the NJ courts are really saying is you only have the right to protect your property, and not yourself. Can we use the argument that if we just save one life, it is all worth it, because doing something is better than nothing, or are we not allowed to use that either?
  6. Maybe I am confusing the collective right argument and the individual right argument.
  7. So with the way NJ denies/permits CCW is it reasonable to say that under these restrictions alone that a well regulated malitia could never exist in the state? Therefore, the limitations posed by the state violate the 2A? Or, have we effectively abandoned that part of the 2A, due to the military that we have from a Federal level?
  8. Brand spankin new. Going to take a look at the magazines, and ramp again, and call Ruger. Bummed.
  9. Having issues with running all the ammo I have through the SR22. CCI Mini mag, Aguila, Remmington Golden Bullet, and Winchester X. Brand new firearm. Cleaned it real good, and lubed. Having casings failing to eject, rounds jamming, not feeding properly up the ramp, and cycling failing to reload a round at all. Tried 2 different magazines also to see if it was the mag, and both have issues. I would say it is at least one round per magazine. I noted in past threads, some folks had issues similar, just curious if anyone has any solutions. Thanks
  10. Took a quick look at ammoguide. Looks like a great site if you reload. I will take a look at some of the reloading books also thanks guys.
  11. Just wondering if anyone can recommend a good guide or book where i can learn more about the different types of ammunition and loads, etc. I am not trying to do any reloading, just trying to educate myself on the topic. I see so many types of bullets with differen loads, casings, and projectiles, and aside from the obvious, i don't have much of a clue. As always, thanks for the help.
  12. M9A1 does not have removeable front sights. Try Bob's little sport shop.
  13. That was kind if the point i was making above. Plus, from a technology standpoint it all can be done, but from a bureaucracy and privacy standpoint it will be tough. We all know how well kids play in the sandbox and share toys. I don't see it happening. This is just a, "well we came up with a great plan but they can't work together thing, so it is not our fault blame them."
