Hi, Is there a restriction on magazine capacity or hollow point ammunition for concealed carry by off duty out of state LEO? It seems to use the LCP II internal hammer mechanism - so it would be an internal hammer that is single action only.

I have one of these - it works well for me with Hornady critical defense. It seems very grip and ammo sensitive. I put a hogue grip sleeve on for it to work reliably with blazer ammo.

There is an item on Amazon called "Glock Factory OEM Night Sights 17, 19, 22, 23, 24, 26, 27, 33, 34, 35". They are 3 dot, and $81.

A jframe in a holster in a zippered outer jacket pocket works well for this purpose. Doesn't impede skiing at all, and I've fallen with one quite a bit. Make sure the gun won't clear the holster during falls. I don't go as hard as fishnut though, so if you do that might be different.

Dear NJGF mechanics and crown vic owners, I'm replacing the front struts on my 06 grand marquis. Can this be done without removing the brake parts? The shop manual and YouTube videos all show the brake caliper bracket, caliper, and rotor being removed to make room. I saw some videos for vehicles with similar suspension setups, like the 04 F150, in which the brake parts were not removed and there was still enough room to work. Sincerely, Catch22LR

I'll have to try this - I'm pretty sure that apart from when using plain black sights, I shoot using only the dots or other markings to aim.

Why do you prefer a black rear sight to one with fiber?

Escaped under cover of darkness in the early morning a few months ago - found my concealed carry permit in the mailbox 5 days after submitting paperwork.

I think you're right - I just realized that "deployable steering column" is a specific part and not just everything above the steering rack. Going to try to find where exactly the deployable steering column circuit is next. I have a workshop manual for this car coming next Monday, so I'll see if this is something I can do at home or not.
