Thanks guys, it is confusing. I did get a nice 92fs in black. It's been over 30 days and I'm working on the next permit. I seems like a 686 is going to be hard to find and it can be expensive. I'm thinking now. I am going with a glock 22.

10$ a day would have covered me and then some for everything, lol

The website for the place I went just says hk usp 9mm. When i go back to try my 92 I will check it out again. I liked the inox a lot. I really wanted an italian 92 and it seems like that is only in black now.

I rented an hk 9mm. I don't remmeber which model, but I remmeber the recoil was like a larger caliber gun.

Ok, I finally got my permits on 2/22, only 7 months wait! and I picked up the 92fs. Now I have make it to the range and decide what to do with the other p2p.

Yup, might have been longer, but I called and asked for an update earlier this week and that seemed to jump start it.

Picked up my p2p today 7 months 10 days. So now to see what's out there

I have the cars and as soon as these permits come in all have this hobby. My really hobby is collecting expensive hobbys.

I have seen CZ mentioned often, but I have not tried one or seen one in a store. I would love to meet up on oct 12th, but The wife has made other plans for me, lol.

Thanks for the recommendations. I'm still waiting so in still looking into everything. I was looking at sigs online, but it was confusing with all the models and they may be a little out of the pride range right now.

Thanks guys! Just an update in still waiting!!

Thanks! I went to the range again yesterday I tried an H&K 9mm, Springfield xdm 9mm, a gen4 glock 26, then a gen4 glock 27 (both flocks from a friend), a m&p .40, a xdm .40 and he beretta again. The H&K had a lot of kick and I didn't like it to much. I liked the grip of the gen4 glocks even with them being small. I shot them pretty well and they didn't bother me. So, I think a glock will be something to consider for later since the grip felt better. I liked the xdm 9mm and I shot that well. So this might be something else to get. I didn't do I well with the m&p .40 I liked the xdm .40 And the beretta was good again, so I still think I'm going with that first.

Thanks Bob, Brunitron what beretta calls thier finish. The use would just be at a range and stored at home.. I might just be a little O.C.D about keeping things nice, but I get over it after a while.
-
Nice! I guess that leads to another question. When the finish gets warn from use you could get the gun reblued or brunitroned? Will it look and last like new?

Thanks Ben, I'm thinking I still have a while to wait. So hopefully in the next few months there will be some around. I still would like to rent a 686 and see if I like it.
