  1. +1 for Termidor. There is a cheaper version you can get on Amazon called Taurus with the same concentration of fipronil. Tried every ant bait out there for the little brown house ants with no effect. They loved Terro baits but I think the only ants that died were the ones that drowned in the bait stations. Sprayed around the foundation with Taurus one time and the ants were gone in a few days.
  2. Did this 3 years ago after FEMA revised the flood maps. I got a Certificate of Map Amendment and went from Zone VE to Zone X. Saved thousands and FI is no longer required by the mortgage co. Lots of paperwork but easy to navigate the FEMA website and upload documents. Took a few months. I used the survey and cert. of elevation from my closing.
  3. Be nice. The hosts on 101.5 (at least the ones I listen to regularly) are fairly conservative and pro 2A. Most of them seem to have common sense and we can educate them on the issues. We don't need friends in the media?
  4. 20.8% according to NJ.com. http://www.nj.com/politics/index.ssf/2015/11/2015_elections_likely_saw_lowest_voter_turnout_in.html May have been lower in some areas. Either way pretty pathetic.
  5. The operative word here is VOTE! 20% of registered voters in NJ voted in the last election. That means 80% think everything is great and won't take 15 minutes out of their day to go to the polls to try and change things. And that's just the registered voters. Think of the large number of unregistered adults that are eligible to vote and not registered and it amounts to 10% or less of the population deciding our future.
  6. Looks like my lawn a few years ago. No amount of watering would bring it back. Had cinch bugs. Got it growing again after treatment and reseeding.
  7. I have a G23 Gen 4 with 9mm Lone Wolf conversion barrel and use G19 mags with it. 1000's of rounds through it and not a single issue. Can also convert to .357 Sig. I'd have no problem carrying it in 9mm if I lived in a free state.
  8. How long? Already here. http://www.wnd.com/2014/05/americans-now-racist-for-waving-u-s-flag/
  9. Raritan, Somerville, Bound Brook, Middlesex, Dunellen. All on the Raritan Valley Line and all decent towns with (relatively) affordable and safe housing.
  10. Just recently came across a website listing pro-gun celebrities. Always thought of them as liberal Hollywood establishment types.
  11. A pro-2A couple you wouldn't expect. Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie.

    Garden

Tomatoes, zucchini, kale, swiss chard, green and yellow beans, snow peas. A fig tree that I hope comes back after 2 harsh winters and an old pear tree that produces loads of the sweetest juiciest pears I've ever eaten.
  13. Middlesex Borough. Three p2p's. Was told it would take 2 months. This was after waiting 2 weeks for an appointment to hand in paperwork. This in a town where literally nothing ever happens except for the occasional stolen bike or drunk driver. PD is the quietest place in town so not like they're too busy. Got a call to pick them up 2 months to the day. References were back within a week. Assuming they were ready within 2 weeks and sat in a file for the next 6 weeks.
  14. Just finished "Killing Patton". Entertaining read. O'Reilly implies Patton was assassinated, likely by the Russians who feared Patton would support an alliance with Germany and a move on Russia. Interesting but I don't think he makes a great case that Patton actually WAS assassinated.
