Source for 10 or 15 round Mags, single stack 7.62?

Recommended Posts

Anyone know a good source for mags? I have a 7.62 single stack Zastava PAP, I read maybe here or some other forum, somewhere in Colorado had a compatible mag for like $8 bucks, but out of stock permanently. .. So if you know of any, please let me know?

I could also use a line of some good and cheap 7.62 ammo?

IMO, download a stencil and open up your mag well to accept double stacks. It's not very hard, needs only a dremel, tungsten carbide cutting bit ($7), some patience, and some double stack magazines to test fit as you grind.

This is what is done to all the double stack WASRs. They are imported as single stacks from Romania, and then Century opens the mag well for double stacks state-side.

century has em for less than 10 each if i remember right. I'de just open it up if it was me, though

i believe this is the one you are talkin about >>>> http://www.centuryarms.biz/proddetail.asp?prod=MA1033

hello fellow PAPy owner 8) atm EAA is the only one who sells OEM mags ($45 for one, $30 for two or more!!!). the single stack romaks work but it is not plug and play. i had to make them work by grinding, polishing and shaking 8) there are couple places u can get them from.

no problemo 8) anytime

and yes u CAN use the WASR10 single stack 10rd magz, BUT they re not as simple as plug and play. some mite not fit properly, some mite b too wobbly. i basically ordered the cheapest ones i can find and then filed the sides of the mags so they fit well enough. sometimes that doesnt work well either even thou they fit solid >>> they dont feed right and jam all the time. so it is basically hit or miss. but again cause they re so cheap its fine 8)

Ok my man see now you're speaking my language. An armorers I am not, but yep, for 6 or$8 a Mag I will play with it / file it / rub it sensually with bore solvent like hoppee's and then massage it with rem oil :-p whatever. , cause they're cheap nzastava wants mucho dollas for a mag, which in my humble opinion isn't nearly priced fair. Shoot Dicks wants 17 buckaroos for a damn ministure mag. 10'rds rem 597' .22 Sheesh!!
