I seen pistol permit required for the NY classes. I'm guessing that means a resident from NY having to have a permit to possess a pistol.

Chris, what if folks are also getting other states that do not require or will accept this training. Is there a charge to do an additional fingerprint card and picture? So if they bring their packets say from VA, NH, CT or other states they could get those done too?

Rifleman1, I don't see why not. I would have to check with Jim to verify, may be a small fee for each set of additional prints. This class already took place though?

had i seen this earlier I would have gone for the same exact reason... Was so happy to ger my FL CCW only to get kicked in the weenie on the 1st of Feb lol

No. You can still get a Utah CFL and it is still even good in PA (statutory agreement). I just took my UT/FL CCW course April 3rd and my packets are there. You do not need a CCW in your home state to get a Non-res Utah CFL.
